in ios 16, branded live wallpapers and special ones for the iphone xs max model have completely disappeared, which is very sad, I hope that Apple developers will return live wallpapers from live photo and exclusive for that model live wallpapersand that I have already tried to put several live photos as wallpaper, but they are just like a static picture and more than one tip from apple care support did not help
Android had live wallpapers ages ago and apple is still unable to crack it. The long press in ios to animate wallpaper concept belongs to the stone age. Bored of seeing the same icons and theme in ios. I might as well switch to android as it offers loads of customization and the phone turns magical and lively. If I'm paying 1000 bucks, I want the phone screen to look how I want it not how apple wants it!
Every time I've gotten a new Samsung, it almost always has like 3-5 wall papers that do a nice little animation when you unlock the phone and sometimes when you swipe to new home screen pages. Are there more of these? I don't know the exact name of them, and I haven't had any luck searching for new ones. I currently have the fold 3, and of course, it has another 3-5 wallpapers that are generic but okay. Does anyone know where to find more of these? BONUS POINTS if they work for galaxy fold 3. Much love.
I do not know of any since that guide was developed by Storm on this forum.
However, @Storm uses animated wallpapers quite a bit and may have better suggestions.
I prefer his method from above because it allows me to only install the basics and not leave management to a GUI application.
Yes, you can add animated wallpapers to Zorin OS Lite 16.1. Zorin OS Lite uses XFCE as its desktop environment, which supports animated wallpapers. First, find and download the animated wallpaper you want to use. Make sure the wallpaper is in a format that XFCE supports, such as GIF or WebM.
Maybe some animated wallpapers since support for that was added in KDE plasma 5.26, and they can look really nice. I am already using the KDE wallpaperengine plugin for animated wallpapers, but a decent selection of stock ones that go well with the dr460nized theme would be nice, particularly for people who don't own wallpaperengine or want to deal with the hassle of setting up. Wallpaperengine really isn't made for linux and launching paid windows software through steam to download wallpapers then using a KDE plugin to sort through the files of the windows software to retrieve the wallpapers from that is not user friendly
is there any option in windows server active driectory users group policy to deploy slide shows of animated wallpapers . i have seen an policy of live wallpaper but there is no option to slect tje wallpepers by ourself.
If you have an iPhone and there are videos that you want to turn into live wallpapers, you have options. However, you'll have to first convert those videos to live photos. From there, you'll be able to find the live photo in your library and set it as your wallpaper.
Yes it can. The ones that come with the phone are Flash (swf) animations and they run all the time in the backgound. I don't know about other animated file types though.

I have an LG shine and I have downloaded wallpapers from zedge and added "bling" as they call it to my pictures and it works well as a wallpaper or as a picture for your contact. It has tons of flashing items and if you can't find what your looking for it has a search bar to help you find what you need. This website also works for regular pictures for myspace and facebook.
The website is called blingee.com/ .
Hope this helps... it works for male or female.

Stardock DeskScapes extends Windows with the ability to run .Dream animated wallpapers. .Dream files can be looped video, or dynamically generated in 3D, or low-resource, hybrid animations. DeskScapes turns the Windows desktop into something more.
Dream Maker allows you to take control of your desktop and create your own animated wallpapers. Using the .dream file format, you can create your own Dreams to share with friends and family. Dream Maker is a free utility.
So switching to a black, or very dark, wallpaper can save you battery life on certain phones (mostly Android models). There may be a few live wallpapers that involve moving very dark objects across a very dark background, but let us assume they are exceedingly rare.
The other live wallpaper drain, then, is CPU usage. The nature of the generally free-to-experiment Android market makes it hard to judge all live wallpapers together. Some are studiously, seriously efficient with system resources, and some were absolutely thrown together over a weekend and ride the graphics and processor chips like a vengeful cowboy.
Other apps will even automate the process for you, making and setting new live wallpapers as often as you want. We love Muzei Live Wallpaper because it will give you a new live wallpaper featuring well-known artwork every day. Meanwhile, Forest Live Wallpaper provides you with forest-themed live wallpapers.
Last night, a photo was leaked of the iPhone 6S Plus packaging, which depicted a koi fish floating on a white box. Though the photo is generally sketchy and unreliable, 9to5Mac seems to believe that the picture is further evidence of the animated wallpapers rumor.
Animated wallpapers have been one of the "Extras" that Microsoft has touted as a selling point for customers of its priciest Windows Vista SKU. But now Stardock is bringing animated wallpapers to the Vista masses.
With DeskScapes 2.0, Stardock has decided to make animated wallpapers avaialble to users of Vista Business, Home Premium and Ultimate users. The Standard edition of the product will be available as a free download; an enhanced version with additional features and "premium" content also will be availbale for $19.95.
Stardock emphasizes that DeskScapes, though animated, use virtually no CPU power. Users will be able to configure the performance of animated wallpapers based on their system requirements. Settings are so granular that users will be able to have their wallpapers change, based on the time of day, and configure dynamic "dreams" independently.
Microsoft has said it plans to continue to release new premium "Extras" to entice users to buy premium versions of Windows. Looks like the company will have to look beyond animated wallpapers, now that Stardock is leveling the playing field in that area.
Yet another feature that's been on Android for years might be finally making its way to the iPhone: animated wallpapers! Specifically, Apple is reportedly planning to bring over the elegant "Motion" Apple Watch faces to the iPhone 6S, according to 9to5Mac. So far, those Apple Watch screens include things like swimming jellyfish, blooming flowers and fluttering butterflies that pop up when you check the time. For the iPhone 6S, sources say Apple is working on animated screens featuring koi fish swimming around a pond and moving smoke. The big difference between Apple's approach and what we've seen on Android so far: It sounds like it's focusing on just animating lock screens. That should add for a cool effect when you wake up your phone, but without eating up battery life like a moving wallpaper on your home screen.
While the sources say Apple might end up nixing the feature before the iPhone 6S launch, a purported iPhone 6S box also prominently showed a koi fish. So there's a good chance it's actually going to happen. If Apple does go down the animated wallpaper route, though, it'll be interesting to see if it tries to justify keeping the feature only on the iPhone 6S. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, after all, should be powerful enough for this.
A wallpaper or background (also known as a desktop background, desktop picture or desktop image on computers) is a digital image (photo, drawing etc.) used as a decorative background of a graphical user interface on the screen of a computer, smartphone or other electronic device. On a computer, wallpapers are generally used on the desktop, while on a mobile phone they serve as the background for the home screen. Though most devices include a default background image, modern devices usually allow users to manually change the background image.
Due to the widespread use of personal computers, some wallpapers have become immensely recognizable and gained iconic cultural status. Bliss, the default wallpaper of Windows XP, has become the most viewed photograph of the 2000s.[6]
Animated backgrounds (sometimes referred to as live backgrounds or dynamic backgrounds) refers to wallpapers which feature a moving image or a 2D / 3D scene as an operating system background rather than a static image, it may also refer to wallpapers being cycled in a playlist, often with certain transition effects. Some operating systems, such as Android, provide native support for animated wallpapers.
