SUBJECT: Spring Schedule & Season Notes
Spring Soccer 2008
Welcome to the 2008 SWSA Spring Soccer Season! On the back you will find your divisionbs game schedule for the season. Please read the schedule carefully!
* Remember to turn in team rosters at or before your first game. New team rosters must be submitted by all teams this spring. Team roster forms are available at www.thurston-parks.org
* Home team is listed first and must provide game ball and corner cones.
* Standings will be determined by the 3-point system. Win (3), Tie (1), Loss(0) with one point being lost for each Red Card given.
* Rainouts will be re-rescheduled if at all possible. Rainout make-ups may be scheduled for days other than your regularly scheduled nights.
* No Alcohol is allowed at the fields. Also, all tobacco use is prohibited at any school facility.
* REMINDER: Report your game scores and sportsmanship ratings with 24 hours to www.thurston-parks.org. League rules and blank rosters can also be found on our website.
* League standings are submitted to The Olympian weekly and are shown in the sports section of Tuesdaybs paper under the heading Recreation Results.
FIELD UPDATE: The Regional Athletic Complex is currently undergoing phase 2 of construction. We will be rotating between fields 2, 3 and 4 this season. Please obey any "FIELD CLOSED" signs and make use of the next available field. We will also use Kenneydell Park and Horizon Pointe. More information on Horizon Pointe is soon to follow.
Rule Reminder:
Refund rule b 75% after schedule is made, no refunds after 2nd game.
A player may play on only 1 team within a league, you canbt play on
both a competitive and recreational teams.
Maximum of 6 players of either gender on the fields at any time.
No slide tackling, this include the keeper b a yellow card will be issued.
Team Responsibilities
Keep soccer safe and fun.
Review SWSA rules with your team.
All players must have shin guards and numbered like-colored shirts.
