Hi,

I use the TuneBlade free test version since some days, to stream some radio stations or audio files to my Yamaha MusicCast speakers or Yamaha HiFi amplifier

It works well except that i receive the message :

« Local PC speakers cannot be muted  »

I use a Windows 10 version 1909  ASUS UX 360 laptop

Is there a way to fix this issue , so i can buy the complete version ?

I had this issue as well. My problem was that I was using the speakers om my monior. Once I set the sound to my laptop's speakers, tuneblade recognized the speakers and it was able to mute it.

I came across something very similar - my laptop has only one set of speakers and these can be muted - but as soon as the speakers are muted by TuneBlade, the stream is muted too. Cannot seem to be muted independently, audio output via speakers/stream must be linked somehow. My pragmatic solution: I plugged in an old set of headphones in the audio jack and set computer audio to use these. Now, when I start the TuneBlade stream, the headphones are independently muted and stream is fine. Not very elegant, but effective...
