Master Volume Forces All Auto Connect

I have 5 Airplay devices that I am using with TuneBlade and I am trying to use the Master Volume. But when ever I adjust the volume of the stream, all other airplay devices auto connect no matter what was happening on those devices at the time.

I have confirmed "Auto-Connect to receivers when discovered" is disabled, "Force reconnection on connection error" is disabled, none of my receivers are set to "Auto Connect".

Is this working as designed or am I doing something wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.
