Hi - I've tried setting this up with VB-Cable (using your instructions in the documentation and a few of the posts below). Tuneblade doesn't send any audio, and switches to standby after a few seconds. In the Sound control panel, I can see that Tuneblade manages to switch the default device to the VB-Audio CABLE Input, and when sound is playing it shows up in the meter. Any ideas on what else I can try? I'd be sold if I can fix this - currently, streaming services don't sound as good as they should in direct mode. Appreciate your help.

Separately, I've noticed that Tuneblade messes up the default device prioritization (my computer switches to line out when something is plugged in, but I have to manually switch it after running Tuneblade in virtual device loopback mode).

Hi,

We haven't had any issues reported for VB-Cable in latest versions. TuneBlade will switch to standby mode if it doesn't capture any audio for a few seconds. Is it possible if the line-out end of the virtual cable is muted as that can cause the behavior you're describing.

Please feel free to post back if this doesn't help.

Thanks,
The TuneBlade Team

Thanks! That wasn't quite it, but close enough to point me in the right direction: I had the microphone muted (which I usually do when not using it). Seems silly now, but it didn't occur to me that could affect playback - oops!
