Folks,

Would have been happiest if Zanskar would have worked out. Myself &
Sailesh tried to work out the logistics but in vain.

According to me the plan is to:

1) Restrict the trip to 9 days which includes 5 working days + 2
weekends
2) Restrict the whole deal's expenses to Rs.3000 per person.

DHARAMSALA seems a super option.

havent spoken to shimpi, so wudnt know abt the incident.

boss i am just out of a leave another wud be well nigh impossible. probably in the second half of the  year perhaps. Hrishikesh is good and i wud love to come along. but as i wud be joining a new frim by then or pursuing a Ph.D. i dont know how it wud all stack up. if in any case u happen to find an opportunity to go there, please dont wait up for me. there will always be another year and another time and another place. in the meantime have fun and a lovely year.

i will speak to Shimpi today and get to know what the scene was all about.

checked out the link on Zanskar. i must agree that sounds too good to
be true and what i guess its always been in ur mind for river rafting.
so be it. but i guess the rafting wud be a bit too expensive, wont it?
and whats a pax, anyway? dharamasala next, not bad again. and the best
season seems to be between April and October. shud be able to make it
by then. and for Rs. 3000/scalp shud be well within each one's pockets.
