This error will occur when the license file used by the license manager has been updated to the new R2014a license file format but the license manager has not been updated to the R2014a license manager version.
I am writing programs in MATLAB to distribute to Windows users. I am using the MATLAB compiler with MATLAB release r2014a to create the programs. I can create a Windows installer using the MATLAB application compiler and it works acceptably.
Can anyone suggest an alternative way to package my compiled MATLAB applications? I would accept a two level installer, where the first installer presents the licence terms the unpacks the MATLAB installers, which need to be run in a second installation phase. A single phase solution would clearly be better.
The procedure below explains how to install Matlab R2014a on Microsoft Windows. The Matlab software is zipped and available for download from CC ftp Site. To download Matlab for Windows Click Here.
Extract the zipped file of Matlab R2014a to Local Drive (e.g. "D:\") and run the setup from the extracted folder.

First, install MATLAB version 2014a or later on your system. Store the vehicle_number_plate.m MATLAB source code file in a folder. Make sure that the vehicle number plate image file is present in the source code folder.
All of the methods discussed above are commonly performed using immunofluorescence, which provides high contrast in stained and unstained structures. Automating a large portion of muscle histology makes it feasible to analyze full muscle cross-sections, eliminating variability introduced by selecting only a portion of the cross section for analysis. This software is validated with muscles from mdx mice, which have many alterations of muscle fiber morphology compared to wild-type mice [21]. The purpose of this study is to develop freely available automatic and standardized image segmentation platform and validate the program using standard muscle histological analysis.

There is a known issue when two (or more) parallel MATLAB jobs are initializing their parpool simultaneously: multiple new MATLAB instances are trying to read and write to the same .dat file in the $HOME/.matlab/local_cluster_jobs/R* folder, which corrupts the local parallel profile used by other MATLAB jobs. To fix the corrupted profile, delete the local_cluster_jobs folder when no job is running.
