Cannot install module OSX

Hi there.

I'm pretty new to this sort of stuff. I was following the http://breach.cc/hack/ page and i have followed the instructions up until the point where it says... 

"You can then add the local copy of your module by entering the appropriate path in the "Install Modules" input box (local:~/path/to/mod_strip)"

...So...I enter ~/Library/Application Support/breach/mod_strip ...which is where is the new folder is located. However, nothing happens when i click "install". 

Any ideas what i am doing wrong?

I can installed a module using github:breach/mod_strip but I can't install anything locally. So is there a way to install the module from a URL? Where can i upload it? 

Please excuse my ignorance. I'm not a programmer (as such) and i haven't used Github before.
