Hi Angel,

I hope this email is getting to you, I’m really not very fluent on google groups so I apologize if I’m screwing this up.  The 34th has had a lot of changes over the last couple of years and as a board member for the last 10 years and proverbial “old white guy” I have decided to curtail my role and become "just a member” and PCO.  The 34th has had a fantastic influx on new and diverse members that portend an exciting new path for our organization.  I wish to step aside and allow for that change to happen.  Part of this withdrawal on my part will be to offer my resignation from the King County Democrats Rules and Bylaws Committee.  I’ve actually meant to do this for awhile, but it slipped my mind until I saw your emails today.  

Thank you for your past collaborations, I really enjoyed being a part of this committee, but it is time for a new path for both the 34th and myself.

Hi Ted,

Thank you so much for your contributions and service! One of the things I’m trying out this cycle is opening up a wider variety participation avenues, and I will still be glad to have your participation and feedback if you find yourself with something you want to say or do or propose for KC Rules.

I can do any of the following from my end, and you can reply here or directly to vo...@mcvoteface.com with what you’d like me to do and I’ll fix it up for you.

1) I can remove you from the group entirely.

2) I can leave you in the group but turn off the emails so they’re not clogging your inbox. I can also turn it down to one digest a day or an abridged summary email so you can see if anything that interests you is going on.

3) I can leave everything the way it is and you’ll still be able to follow along as much as you want.

Please enjoy the heck out of your “retirement”!
