A word file isn't going to help you I think.
You need to use a spreadsheet in CSV format.
So go into excel and pull up a spreadsheet. Put your data into that and modify it to how you want it to look.
Then when you go to save it, click Save As, then Browse. When the box pops up, it's going to have a section at the bottom "Save as Type." Click on the box and save it as CSV (comma delimited), and save it.
Then in the post, go to Insert, and at the bottom of the list it'll give you a table option. Upload your CSV to that and it should pull up your table for you.
