PCL664-bit driver installer for the Phaser 6180. This driver uses the Add Printer Wizard and provides additional color controls and functionality the Postscript driver does not contain. Microsoft WHQL Certified.

I'll be testing those 3 drivers some more tomorrow but at the moment none look promising. PCL6 prints a long sheet of paper, might have used the entire roll if I didn't cancel the plot. PCL5 and Postscript don't seem to have any of the page sizes I need and I am unable to create a custom page size and save it as a PC3. If none of these end up working, as sad as it is, the crash after each plot is the best choice.

I have reviewd that post in the xerox forums and mine is set properly. I'll cehck the dot net version and make sure it is updated. I am printing directly to the IP address of the printer. I have some PDF software that also crashes when plotting to this device.

A first thought on that is that there is something screwed up in the driver software, probably some kind of corruption that might not be dealt with during a simple uninstall. You might want to try manually uninstalling the driver then rebooting to see if a fresh install might help.

What I was suggesting, is that completely removing the driver and reinstalling it from a new download, with anti-virus off, will at least tell us if the driver is corrupt, and will let us move on to other possible causes.

Also, we looked at some of the existing drivers in Windows 10, and it might be a good test to try installing a different driver from that Win10 list, like the "Xerox PCL6 Class Driver" or the "Xerox PCL6 Class Driver V1.1" to see if a simpler driver might at least get the system stable enough to print without crashing, but still keep the functionality of your printer intact.

When you get a minute, can you please try creating a new Windows user profile (preferably Admin), then logout of the current profile and login to the new profile and see if printing still causes a crash?

After speaking with Bluebeam technical support, one suggestion was to try the 32 bit version instead of the 64 bit version (both are installed when installing BB). The 32 bit version does not crash but the 64 bit version does. So, I guess I'll be using the 32 bit version.

The paper size you're looking for is A3. Go to printer properties, click on the "Configuration" tab, At the bottom click on "Edit (Paper/Output Size). double click "A3 (297x420mm) so the display column is "Yes". Click apply and OK. It will now be available in your application.

During the conversion process, fonts and other printed elements are broken down into data points that represent arcs, curves, transparencies, etc. and are sent to the printer. The more PostScript data your file has, the longer it will take to print. If your file has a high word count, or more complex graphical data like line merge, transparency, and hatch patterns, your file will take longer to print.

If the issue still persists, or you were already using a PCL 6 driver in the first place, you can usually fix these types of printing problems by going into the Advanced Printing preferences, and selecting Image from the Print Engine dropdown.

Most likely, you are currently running Revu in 64-bit mode. If your printer drivers are 32-bit, however, then you may experience problems printing in 64-bit software like Revu. Because of this, Revu offers a 32-bit mode which allows printers with 32-bit drivers to function properly.

During the conversion, fonts are sent to the printer as arcs and curves that need to be filled, transparency must be processed, and small specs of data such as those representing gravel must all be accounted for within the file. All this can result in large amounts of PostScript data that needs to be processed, which in turn impedes printing the file to paper.
