Repair

I have a vintage (I think) desk fan that works very well but is very loud. I am trying to find someone that knows about these things, in hopes they might be willing to look at it with me and help me fix it.

Stephanie - Is the sound from your fan a vibration or mechanical noise?  Is a multi-speed fan and if so does is the sound the same at lower speeds?
