The Brazos Locavores would like to let you know about several upcoming
events:

June 14:
Are you interested in learning more about sustainable agriculture?
Have you wanted to get rooted in the local food movement?
This is your opportunity to get hands on experience in growing your
own food, managing a small farm, and establishing a student-run
organic farm at Texas A&M!
The first Sustainable Agriculture Student Association (SASA) meeting
and seed sowing party will be Tuesday, June 14 at 6:30pm in Room 112
of the Horticulture/Forest Science Building, so come get your hands
dirty.

June 18:
The Friends of the Brazos Valley Farmers Market, the Vintage House
Restaurant at Messina Hof, and Go Texan proudly present this Market-to-
Menu event focused on seasonal dishes incorporating produce, meat,
eggs, olive oil and salsa coming exclusively from the market’s farmers
and vendors. Local gardening and food system authors Bill Adams,
Pamela Walker, and Doug Welsh will also be at the market.
