This Sunday's Farm Tour will be a great opportunity for anyone in the
local community interested in organic sustainable agriculture. The
Blackwood Educational Land Institute (
http://www.blackwoodland.org/)
is a real treasure located 40 minutes south of College Station. Twin
Persimmons Farm (
http://www.twinpersimmonsfarm.com/) will be there to
talk about growing the best tasting veggies for your home garden and
how they grow produce for their Community Supported Agriculture.

When: Sunday Sept 18th 1pm (Tour Starts) until 3pm
Where: Blackwood Educational Land Institute north of Hempstead near
HWY 6 (RSVP for directions)
Why: Support local agriculture and learn about where food comes from
If you are interested in going on the tour join the carpool group
leaving Brazos Natural Foods in Bryan at NOON! We will head to south
to Hempstead for a 1pm tour. There is a $10 donation recommended for
this tour.
