Are you looking for vegetables for your fall food garden? The Holistic
Teaching Garden on Texas A&M's West Campus (near Read Arena) will be
having a Plant Sale, from 8am to 3pm Thursday Sept 30, Friday Oct 1
and Saturday Oct 2.

The sale features Vegetable Transplants, Herbs, Landscape Plants, Fall
Bedding Plants and House Plants! Parking is available for visitors in
Lot 74 near the Horticulture Forest Science Building. Proceeds from
the sale support the Holistic Garden's educational programs.
Also on Friday, October 1, Dr. Joe Novak,TAMU Horticulturist, will
present two talks pertinent to the fall garden season -- "The Fall
Food Garden" and "Annual and Biennial Flowers for Fall-Winter-Spring
Color in the Brazos Gardens". These talks will be based on 30+ years
of experience in Dr. Novak's home garden in Bryan and the Holistic
Teaching Garden on the TAMU Campus. Emphasis will be on plants that
will be available in the Holistic Garden's Fall Plant Sale. The
seminars will be held in Rm. 102 of the Horticulture Forest Science
Building from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Visitor Parking is available in Parking
Lot 74. This seminar is free and open to the public.
