Nutrition
are
recruiting volunteers
to
participate
in
a
research
study
about
why
people
decide
to
source
their diet
locally.
We
are
looking
for
Brazos
Valley
residents
who
actively
seek
local
alternatives
to
chain
grocery
stores
and
fast‐food
restaurants;
such
as
local
farms
and Farmers’
markets,
community
gardens
and
community
supported
agriculture,
and
locally
owned
stores
and
restaurants
as
well
as
people
who
grow
their
own
food.
This
study
would
involve
participating
in
a
group
discussion
with
3‐4
other
people
under
guidance
of
the
researcher
and
should
take
no
more
than
two
hours
of
your
time.
The research
will
be
conducted
at
a
location
in
Downtown
Bryan
and
refreshments
will
be provided.
The
date
and
time
of
the
meeting
will
be
determined
based
on
participants’ availability.
This
study
will
help
us
to
develop
a
questionnaire
for
a
larger
scale
study and
is
part of a
PhD
research
project.
The
long‐term
goal
of
this
study
seeks
to
assess
whether
people
who
eat
a
strictly
local
diet
can
meet
their
nutrition
needs.
