I thought I would send this via email as I am sending it out late.

May the Love of our Savior bless you this time of the year, and through the new year.

Merry Christmas

We have had a year of travel and adventure, mixed with periods of service to others.   Highlights of the year include the following:

Our oldest grandson, Jonah, was married to his wife Fifi in the Payson Temple.   We now have a granddaughter-in-law; - but we just consider her a granddaughter.    I don’t want to think of her as an in-law, lol

Our granddaughter Julia has gotten engaged, wedding date in 2026.

We attended the Pittsburgh, PA Temple open house with our son Ben’s family.   Beautiful temple.    While there, we got to meet with many of our Pennsylvania friends. We miss them.

We also went down to Virginia to spend some time with our daughter Seana’s family.   We visited them in Virginia two times – both to see performances at the Barter Theatre where her children acted in productions of The Wizard of Oz, and the musical of How the Grinch stole Christmas.   Great shows and great visit with family.

In the local area we attended performances of The Screwtape Letters, The Play That Goes Wrong, and Mark Twain Tonight

We had a grandson, Eli, who left on a fulltime mission to Poland and is now serving a Service Mission in the Salt Lake Valley.

We went on a Cruise in the Caribbean followed by a 2 week tour of South Mexico and Belize to see ruins that could be associated with the Book of Mormon peoples.    Beautiful area, great people and a great tour guide couple. If you would like to see Pyramids, Ruins, etc.  we can connect you, and yes, we climbed those pyramids!

Kris was busy with two service groups.  With one group, she crocheted countless beanies for NICU children in local hospitals.   She also worked in preparing Feminine Hygiene Packets with the Rose Garden Foundation – these kits are sent overseas to needy women and girls.

I have been involved with the community in the development of Emergency Preparedness documents and have been trained and certified with Community Emergency Response Training, (CERT).   We have organized the local neighborhood and I will be working more with this in 2026.   I have also done a great deal of temple work this past year.

Grateful for His Gift by Catherine Pulsifer

Let Christmas fill our world with cheer,
With gratitude for Christ so dear.
God’s precious gift, our guiding light,
Brings faith and hope through every night.

Let love reflect His holy grace,
As joy lights up each heart and place.
Together, may we humbly pray,
Thanking God for this blessed day.
