Dear Sister Oakes,  Dick Harmon a terrific sports journalist for the Deseret News wrote an incredible article about my grandson Saxon Baltzer's success surfing 🏄‍♂️ weaving in his faith, tender mercies, prayer 🙏 all while preparing to go on his mission. As a southern California native I’m sure you will resonate with the article’s opening.  It's a story worth sharing with the youth, youth leaders & parents of youth. As one who loves to learn and teach, I think you will love how Brother Harmon uses a nice hook to capture the audience's attention at the beginning of his article, how he takes the reader on the journey full of challenges, tender mercies with highs & lows. How he weaves faith, devotion, prayer & skills which are developed over hours & hours of building his capabilities which help Saxon be successful. I love seeing great examples of what good looks like in capturing hearts & minds. I hope you enjoy the article as much as I do.

I love and appreciate you and President Oakes and the blessing you are in my life as well as I’m sure all of your missionaries.

May the Lord continue to bless you Sister Oakes🙏🙏👏👏🙏🙏

P.S. maybe Elder Jolley knows how to share this article with the other Brazil North missionaries  if my copying the brazil-north-...@googlegroups.com doesn’t work
