Sister Kathy McGee Albee

It is with sadness that I send this email. Our dear Sister Kathy McGee Albee passed away this morning, August 23, 2025. She had been put in hospice just 10 days ago. It was a shock to all of us with her passing so quickly, especially her husband, Earl. She had fought a rare lymphoma that came back a couple other times. She didn't tolerate the chemotherapy the last time so they decided not to do anything this time. She also had some other health issues.

She and Earl had discussed the fact that they didn't want funerals and that a graveside service would be their choice. That makes me a little sad because there is so much good to be said about her. The graveside service will be next Saturday, August 30 at 12:30 pm at the Payson City Cemetery in Payson, Utah, 400 North 800 East.

Some of you may not know that she served another mission to Lisbon, Portugal, around the late '70s. I'm sure she and President Oakes shared a great big abraço today!

What dear friends we have because of our service and time with "o povo do Brasil! "
