Spring semester!

Hey ladies! 

Just wanted to see if we wanted to start looking for a day that would work for the majority of us to have our weekly bible study and also to figure out what bible study we want to do!! 

Anyone know how/want to create one of those docs that you can check off days and times that work for you...I'm technologically dysfunctional or I would offer to do it myself.

Unfortunately my schedule doesn't permit me to do bible study this semester :( . There just aren't enough hours in my week to dedicate to the homework and an additional meeting.

ok so i compiled a short list of bible studies some of you girls have recommended to me! They all sound really great, so  try to vote asap so we can go ahead and all order them and get started ASAP :) heres the link to vote:

Also... its looking like our possible times would be Monday at 7, Wednesday at 8, to Thursday at 6,7, or 8.

Okay so after looking at both polls it looks like we will be doing the bible study Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge. Make sure you get the small/group study guide version of this because there is book by just Stasi Eldredge as well (although I'd recommend reading it too if you want, Becca said it phenomenal!) 

Also, it seems like Thursdays work best for most people? Let's say Thursdays at 6pm? It usually lasts about an hour! Any objections...speak now or forever hold your peace haha :)

I am beyond excited to do this book!! It is life changing!!! Seriously. 

Make sure you buy the study guide AND the book!!!!!

 I looked into it and if you google "captivating study guide" the reviews say it's not the book,it's just a supplemental guide. But you need the book to read in order to do the study guide!

So you need both. Total it's about $20ish 

Can't wait for this to start!

Monday would be kinda difficult around our sisterhood meetings brooke haha..but i think the most amount of girls could do wednesday or thursday :/ we could possibly do Wednesday at 8 instead? I have OTS meetings on Wednesday once a month so id just be a little late to some of them...but I'm okay with that if that time is just as good for everyone...

Ok last email, sorry for all the back and forth everyone! Let's stick with Thursdays at 7pm (tentatively at my house for now).  It worked for most people when I initially suggested it! I'm sorry if this doesn't work for some of you :( but I would encourage you to still buy the book captivating and read it on your own! It is supposedly an incredible read and full of great wisdom for women walking with The Lord. And I'm sure any of us doing the bible study would love to meet up and chat with you about it too at another time!

Just to reiterate, make sure you buy the book AND the participant guide!
