i tried this twice on windows10 but the decompression failed twice after i downloaded it from brat's homepage.

help plz. thanks.

I didn't have that issue trying to use the version from brat's homepage, however, that's not the most recent version, so I ended up just cloning from github: https://github.com/nlplab/brat
