There was a little barn that smelled of fresh milled grain
where the sun poked through after days of rain.
So out skipped four friends two by two with a
gobble-gobble, quack, hee-haw, moo-moo!

Because I had fallen behind in my nonfiction reviews, I checked out the audio version from Seattle Bibliocommons and listened to it while I watered my plants. It is very well done, and I had no problem following the thread. The only downside is that the printed version has some humorous puns by way of spelling that the listener misses.

My audio mp3 file is 18 seconds long. I want to play like first 3 or 4 seconds. Is there any way to do that in react js ! The above mentioned code play the whole 18 seconds, I just want to play the first few seconds. Can I do that in react js ? Also, Can I choose from where does my sound starts and ends for example If I want to play the sound from 0.03 to 0.07 seconds of quack sound !

"The Cornish ducks made longer and more relaxed sounds, much more chilled out. The cockney [London] quack is like a shout and a laugh, whereas the Cornish ducks sound more like they are giggling," she said.

quack (comparative more quack or quacker, superlative most quack or quackest) (quacker and quackest are rare, and probably used humorously)

Rather than hire another celebrity voice right away, Aflac decided to see if there's someone from the general public who might have a worthy quack. Anyone interested will be able to submit a 30-second audio or video file with their best version of the Aflac duck's signature "Aflac" squawk at www.quackaflac.com.

You can mute the quack sound that your Mac makes when adjusting audio levels by adjusting a system preference setting. Yes, that means you can completely turn it off and stop the little quack / pop sound from happening anytime the volume changes. Here is what you will want to do in OS X:

A guide for Field Guides Inc.: , and a honorary research associate at the LSU Museum of Natural Science, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA: I am keenly interested in avian vocal diversity, particularly of Neotropical birds. For two decades, I have been studying the avifauna of Peru in particular, but am keen to learn about birds and their voices wherever I go. Until 2007, I was using cassette recorders (I went through many, finding the Sony TCM-5000 to be the best--I used it from 2000-2007, alas it is now extinct), but now I use a Sound Devices 702 and a Sony PCM-D50, both of which are excellent digital flashcard recorders. All my raw recordings are housed at the Cornell Lab or Ornithology's Macaulay Library (although most are not available yet as cataloged recordings in their collection =lane%20daniel&recordist_id=818&tab=audio-list&order=taxa), so if you wish to find the original, unedited recording that was the source of a cut here, contact Macaulay Library. I hope to have my full catalog of recordings available through a combination of the two websites.

Various natural vocalizations from a group in a temporary pond near some ranch buildings. The initial vocalization was presumably a male display (not observed), as I approached, they went silent, then flushed with females quacking.

Natural neck-arch whistle display from a male that had some Mallard characters (greenish bill, paler cheek and a hint of green iridescence on the supercilium), and a female quack. In roadside shrimp ponds (hence the traffic noise).

First splashdown from several individuals (not the ones vocalizing), then a few purr-quacks and whistled notes from a quartet of males and females that were moving together. A few longer moans are probably from a Myocastor coypus (Nutria or Coypu)
