IGNs complete Limbo strategy guide and walkthrough will lead you through every step of the game, from the opening title screen to the final credits. This Limbo Walkthrough Guide also includes the location of all Secret Egg locations, boss strategy, and even more.

Build for duration and less radius. (Narrow Minded is imperative, much like Overextended is imperative for Slowva). Alongside it, you must use your 2 (stasis) in order to stop enemies caught in it or who ran into its edge. Cataclysmic Continuum, the augment that adds duration with every kill in the rift seems to be pretty decent, but I've never even had it, and I've done finely without it.

Next - energy color: avoid bright colours. They're a pain to the eyes and can also cause nausea to some players who are inside the bubble. Dark energy colours easily show the bubble without causing visual problems, so you should use those.

Limbo is good at cheesing mobile defenses as well, no matter the level, grineer and infested ones being ideal for the lack of nullifiers: a stasis+cataclysm combo built for high duration will certainly outlast the terminal's defence countdown, and let you pick up the datamass before the bubble collapses. You will likely not even have to fight for the whole mission. And while you can not insert the datamass while in the rift, (spoilers for The Second Dream/The War Within ahead)

Stasis as an ability can also get quite useful when there are certain enemies who present problems to the team, such as grineer Noxes, Hyekka Masters, Nullifiers with their bubbles down, and dangerous infested Ancients (such as the venomous eximus). While Stasis can be activated regardless of rift-location, you can only banish enemies from outside of the rift. When you combine banish and stasis, you have the opportunity to take care of lone, tanky problem-enemies within the rift while they can not fight back.

In case a teammate is at seriously low health, you may use Limbo's passive to lead them into the rift until they can heal themselves. However, you can not resuscitate downed allies from within the rift.

My recommended aura mod for Limbo is Energy Siphon, which combines with his passives (energy regenerating for everyone in the rift and getting energy for in-rift kills) to turn him into a powerhouse that can repeatedly cast stases and cataclysms. HOWEVER, there is a drawback to being in the rift in that you will not be able to collect any pickups, including much-important energy orbs. Tapping shift twice to get out of the rift for just a moment works well enough but still places you at higher risk in higher-level missions.

Nullifiers are your worst enemy when you are playing limbo - they can free units from banishment, they can turn off all your abilities, knock you and your allies out of the rift, and collapse your cataclysm bubble if their own touches it. On top of that, they are also armed with Lankas, high-powered snipers which can one-shot you at higher levels. They are high priority targets, but they are better taken care of by other teammates, since you don't want your abilities disrupted by coming into accidental contact with them. If you have stasis on, and their bubbles are down, don't hesitate to banish them and take care of those curs yourself.

However, despite all this, note that there are certain enemies who are not affected by any of Limbo's abilities. However, they are highly specific and amount to bosses, field bosses, and miscellaneous enemies. They are rare and so rarely ever present a problem.

Can't limbo revive players while limbo is in the rift, yet limbo cannot interact with anything else outside the rift? strange. Figured being in a rift would separate you from any form of interaction, regardless of a nully bubble, since being in the rift is his passive on roll.

Probably just a 'typo', but I play a lot of Nova and Overextended is used for Speed Nova, because of its -60% Ability Strength. You almost never want range on Nova (yeah I know about her 3 in POE or OV) because your Null Star particles are gonna fly all over the place with increasing range. Your M.Prime gains range by equipping duration mods.

As long as you're not choking the whole map and forcing your team to run a marathon whenever they want to get a kill, a neutral or minor range boosts can very much still be beneficial, used correctly. They are best used in Interception to swallow up a tower - a 145% range bubble is conveniently about the same size as one for most of its duration.

Again, very accurate - one slight addendum though is that you can force enemies out with banish too. Depending on the situation this may be useful - generally speaking, it's best in solo play where using rift surge is actually acceptable though.

You can absolutely revive allies from the rift, and it's situationally quicker than using spoiler mode. You can also capture targets from the rift and open friendship doors... for some reason?

Avoid melee range and you should be fine. Moreover, whilst Banish might have diminishing returns against these enemies, Cataclysm will usually function unimpeded. This is one of the other best uses of wider-ranged builds - it lets you build your own arena to make these enemies ask "why do I hear boss music?" rather than the other way round. Plus, wider range leaves space for ability strength... which means rift torrent. Which, whilst fairly niche, is an insanely powerful augment, that basically serves as one of the single biggest damage buffs in the game if you play your cards right. In ESO I've hit 6000% damage boosts. Limbo is particularly excellent against the Hemocyte. Not the fastest ways to run it, but more consistent and safer, as well as being better equipped for the other sections.

I only use Narrow Minded for mobile defense missions. Base size for Cataclysm seems fine for me, maybe just a 15% bump from Cunning Drift if anything. Larger than that and teammates usually start to complain.

I find Energy Siphon really isn't needed, as energy generation inside the Rift is quite good on its own. I used to end up using Enemy Radar/Loot Detector/Corrosive Projection situationally instead, otherwise just Speed Boost to rush through missions. I ended up putting an Aura Forma on Limbo so my teams can benefit from Power Donation, or Steel Charge to make my Exodia Contagion dagger even more lethal.

What seperates pro limbo from noob casual limbo is rift surge+rift torrent. I can't tell you how many people in my squads get confused when they can't hit stuff outside of the cataclysm bubble. Just press 2,4,3 in that order. No need to waste mod on 200+ range
