IPAD/Android tablet in a special wall/kitchen mount? (and skip watching cable TV in the kitchen since everything else in the house is IP based including the CCTV. Cheaper and flexible and easily replaceable solution)

Apple Tv its cheap and works perfectly for most of the shows you would want to watch (between netflix and built in network channel apps). Also you could use some heavy duty velcro to mount the small apple tv to the sides of the tv (works great for tvs on swivel arms)

Actually i thought that there was an article about awhile back where Steve Jobs was interviewed and he said he cracked the problem of getting IOS (or something Apple-ish) working on a TV (without the Apple TV). Or was i wrong?
