Although out of our area I thought it appropriate to post that a Burrowing Owl was seen today (9 January) at Tommy Thompson Park (Leslie St Spit), Toronto at Cell #1. This bird was found weeks ago and only a fortunate few in the loop were able to see it. It caused great consternation in those that were denied this information. The word of this bird is being suppressed again although many people already know about it. I think it fair that all get a chance to see it.

Now there are few eyes on these two forums but at least you know now and perhaps can inform others that may want to look for the bird.

Nonetheless, it will be very tough to find as it has only been seen a few times in about six weeks that it has been there.

Bird has been seen today near Cell 1. That's all I know. If you go please give the bird distance.
