As the online and digital world changes at warp speed, the Brandon Library is keeping up with the times.  Brandon Library is invested in getting materials of every kind into our patron’s hands to offer the most diverse and varied experience possible.  We offer the following at no cost to our patrons:

Listen Up Vermont - this service offered through the Green Mountain Library Consortium allows our patrons to virtually check out eBooks and audiobooks in a digital format for devices such as Kindle, Nook, iPod, tablet, computer, or mP3 player.      http://www.listenupvermont.org/

Vermont Online Library - the Vermont Online Library (VOL) offers a wide array of electronic information databases on a variety of topics geared to a variety of age levels, for both generalists and specialists. The information is produced by known and trusted publishers. These Gale Cengage Learning databases include the Chilton Guides, Law, Health and Wellness, Biography, World History, Careers, Magazines and Journals, Newspapers and so many more. These powerful tools are available to you 24-hours-a-day from not only Brandon Library, but your home, your office - or anywhere Internet access is available.     http://galesupport.com/accessvt/

HeritageQuest - Genealogical research tools are available to you 24-hours-a-day from not only Brandon Library, but your home, your office - or anywhere Internet access is available. http://persi.heritagequestonline.com/hqoweb/library/do/login

Universal Class - Universal Class is an educational service providing high quality online courses for patrons (generally high-school age and older) interested in the lifelong pursuit of knowledge for either personal or professional reasons. Patrons register online, participate in the classes online at their own pace, correspond with instructors online and have up to six months to complete an individual class. Universal Class supports lifelong learning and enhances not only social inclusion, active citizenship and personal development, but also employability.       http://vermontstate.universalclass.com
