Dear friends and allies,
As a non-Native settler, it can be hard to know where to start in unpacking what it means to be a colonizer on this land. Especially as climate activists fighting fossil fuel infrastructure that often directly affects Native groups.
Luckily, there are folks who have already begun forging this path.
Tonight there is an opportunity to hear directly from a Lakota Strong Heart Warrior and a white settler whose been on the path towards decolonization for over ten years. They have graciously offered to host a night of music, discussion and resistance to anyone interested.
If you are available tonight and have wrestled with any of these questions before, this is the event to go to.
Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Place: Encuentro 5 9A Hamilton Place, Downtown Boston (across from Park St.)
