Dear comrades, great to catch up with Briggsy, David and Cath this morning at espressohead. Odd not to have booze with a Trust meeting, but it didn't stop the foul language. Discussed a range of very important political and social issues, including whether there would be any joy having Punter as a dinner guest. I think the verdict was he is a bit of a prick, but Briggsy would still be prepared to share a meal.
Paul and Fi, you were very much missed...
My dear niece took a few snaps of the toga party last night - inc this with my bro-in-law.
Until next time, big hugs
F

An excellent morning with great company.................................although David was there. Take care and will be checking cheap flights to Adelaide in the next six months.

Chaps,
today was one of those days when I would have sold my grandmother to have been there (long dead; I dunno what she'd be worth).  Would have enjoyed the blue talk, as a welcome antidote to the wearisome and unstinting politeness of mid-westerners.  The very reference to Australia's favourite noun/verb/adjective as "the f-bomb" gives you some sense of how often it is used in coffee shops!!   If it truly were a bomb, every square inch of Aussie civilisation would look like down-town Baghdad.
cheers to all
fiona
ps we are going to be in Brissy in early June.  Thinking of having drinks at the Storey Bridge on Saturday 9th.  Pencil it into your calendars now.
