okay,
can you ping the ip behind that domain?
"ping 67.159.60.62"

if you can ping the ip, but not the domain, then you have some problems with DNS lookup, and then you could try changing your DNS servers to googles 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Hi
i make a traceroute to the ip.

traceroute to 67.159.60.62 (67.159.60.62), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets
connect: Network is unreachable

can you ping your own gateway router?
because this sounds like your computer is not getting internet access while trying to connect

No the same message : network is unreachable
So maybe you will help out my system description.
My notebook:
Asus X56Vseries
Duo T5800 Processor
Radeon HD 3650 Graphics
Intel (R) WiFi Link 5100 network card
Windows 7 Ultimate 64
Laptop is connected via wireless Internet.
I start with Blacktrack 5 32 bit image using the Gnome VWWare Player

Network adapter is enabled in the VM.

But why do I need for internet but if I want to set up my iPhone in order to have Internet in Blacktrack. Since I dont have a USB network card.

This is a vicious circle: D

you need to have a working internet connection to get the packets (like drivers) your trying to install...
they are all downloaded when running the apt-get install command....

so the process is:

1. connect your computer with wifi or RJ45 cable to the internet
2. tjeck that the connection is working (you can always try ping 8.8.8.8 wich is googles DNS server)
3. follow my video tutorial
4. use your phone as modem everywhere you go.

Hello
it does not work. My laptop is in the internet via wifi. I do not have the possibility to him via LAN to connect to the router.
I still have no internet at home. For this reason I want to use the Internet from the iPhone.

I will try my router at home after profiting from the iPhone as a repeater hotspot and connect my laptop to the router via LAN then. Do you think this could work?

Hi this is now working.
I had with my laptop via cable to the internet and in VWWare the network settings instead of NAT Change Bridge. Now he invites all the packages and can also install. So I can now follow your video to step successfully.

But then the next problem. He rebooted and tried my opinion, to start from the network. And that does not work. I must then restart the virtual machine and must therefore all steps starting from scratch. It saves so none of the donwloaded the packages.

Maybe I need to install BackTrack?

Do I necessarily MyWiFi on the iphone? or works with the normal function thetering?

I hope you can help me further. THX
