installing from local repository

Hello,

What is the easiest way to install brainGraph from a locally hosted git working directory (rather than directly from github)?  I have made some modifications to allow some functions to read existing files (sometimes functions segfault -- maybe because they run out of memory -- and I'd like to restart from where they left off), but the README only shows how to install from CRAN or from the main github repository.  Or maybe I should just fork the repository and point devtools to my fork?  It's not that convenient for minor changes, but I could do that if there is no other option.  Thank you!

Hi, please try the advice in the following post: https://stackoverflow.com/a/48670791/3357706

i.e., it may be as simple as

devtools::install_git('/path/to/local/repository')

where you change "/path/to/local/repository" with the actual location on your system.

That seems to work, thanks! If I can find a way to reliably reproduce
the segfault (without sending you tons of data) I will definitely let
you know!
