The Charvet lab at Delaware State University is looking for consultants to work remotely on research projects leading to publications. The consultant has the opportunity to work with a diverse team to integrate state of the art MR imaging with gene expression to study the evolution and development of human and non-human brains. Learn more about the Charvet lab (www.charvetlab.com) and check out recent papers at the intersection of neuroimaging and transcription (https://www.charvetlab.com/publications).  The goal of this research is to integrate from genetics to neuroimaging to enhance translational work from model organisms to humans.  This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with diverse researchers and to gain experience working with methods that cut across scales of organization. We are looking for individuals who will perform statistical analyses with the programming language R, write manuscripts, make figures, analyze RNA sequencing data, and/or analyze diffusion MR scans. If you are interested in working remotely for consulting fees, contact Christine Charvet at char...@gmail.com. Strong preference is given to individuals with a PhD. The paperwork does take some time (a minimum of 2-3 months).
