The Evolution of Brain Connectivity Project at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology seeks applicants for a position as

Student Research Assistant

(min. 40 h/month)

You will work in an international team of researchers and code audio and video data collected on behavior, vocalizations and cognition of great apes

and monkeys living in European Zoos and African Sanctuaries and you will make an important contribution to a larger project that examines behavior and brain connectivity in hominoids.

Criteria for applicants:

- enrolled at a German University (Bachelor, Masters, or equivalent)
- reliable and ready to provide a high level of commitment
- sustained attention to detail during repetitive tasks
- willingness to work independently and able to work as part of a small team
- able to report back on work progress and communicate effectively
