On behalf of our colleagues at the UC Irvine Center for Neural Circuit Mapping, we wanted to let you know that registration is now open for next year's Second International Conference on Unconventional Animal Models of Alzheimer's Disease and Aging.
Hosted February 9-11, 2026 at the University of California, Irvine, this engaging conference will showcase recent breakthroughs, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and encourage dynamic scientific exchange. Registration closes December 9, visit the event page for more details.

Additionally, a special issue of Alzheimer’s & Dementia: Translational Research & Clinical Interventions is being curated in parallel with the conference to complement the program and highlight the innovative approaches that will be showcased at the event.
Call for papers: Transforming the relevance of preclinical research in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias by development and use of novel animal models and cellular systems. The submission deadline is May 1, 2026. Visit the journal website for submission guidelines.
