ESHE 2026 in Burgos, Spain, Abstract Deadline 8th of May

Dear Colleagues, We are excited to announce the 16th Annual ESHE Meeting, which will take place in person in Burgos, Spain. As in previous years, the meeting will follow a hybrid format, offering both on-site attendance and virtual participation options. The conference will begin on 16 September with a keynote lecture and additional events to be announced at a later date. Conference talks and poster sessions will take place from 17-19 September. The excursion to the archaeological site of Atapuerca is scheduled for Sunday, 20 September. Please note that both registration and abstract submission will open in April. The ESHE abstract submission deadline is 11:59 PM (PDT) on Friday, 8 May 2026. Early registration rates will be available until 1 July. Further details regarding the conference, registration fees, childcare options, and student travel grants are available on the Meetings page of the ESHE website, which will continue to be updated in the coming weeks.
