Very neat. How are the 1000 manually labeled brains going? Is there any pilot data available yet? We have a new graduate student coming in a few weeks and I have a few fun projects he could cut his teeth on with a bit more manually labeled data.

Cheers,

Bennett

very nice approach to creating a multimodal template set.  i wouldn't call it an "atlas" since it doesn't have any labeled regions.  all that trouble -- i wonder why they weren't manually labeled or manually brain-extracted (bet?!).

cheers,
@rno

Hi Benett,

We're waiting to hear about phase II funding.  When we get that, we'll get back into cranking out those labeled scans.

We "completed" labeling of 30 scans at the time of the phase II submission (15 subjects scanned twice).  We had almost completed 20.  After the submission, I provided the scans to Arno, but then Jason, our anatomist, said to wait because of some issues with the labeling.

I'll have to ask him what the status is on that.  He's quite busy these days so I don't expect him to respond right away.  Arno, do you have more information on that?

Thanks,

Andy.

It would be enlightening to play with 15x2 fully labeled datasets even if the labels are not quite final.
