So I have pretty bad ADHD and my working memory aint the best. I've been fired from jobs before because of it. It even affected me working in a fast food restaurant.

Anyways, after 3 months of DNB, some confirmed gains, but I know I need help to go further.

My working memory is so bad that it was hard to read in Starbucks/Panera. Working memory is stressed to filter out distractions and focus. I avoided cafes completely to study.

When I was working hard at it at DNB a few months I randomly went into a cafe and brought a book. To my surprise, I was able to read. Not only that, but found it quite enjoyable!

I bought a panera sip cup membership, unlimjited drinks for $15/hr.

Now that I've given it up I can't do it. I find myself going to my car to read. Yesterday I spent 5 minutes and read 2 pages and just daydreamed.

Now my question for everyone here is:
* I do rehersal. Should I switch?
* I do DNB, should I switch?
* I've plateaued at DNB5. What do I do?

Many thanks!

Great work! No, don't switch, rehearsal is what you want to use. My working memory us crud too, but not quite as bad as yours. However, I've been inspired by a guy on Redd ut who has been working with Dual N Back for a few years straight, and he has boosted his IQ by at least 30 points, and his memory is "photographic at times" he says.

So, stick with it, and you'll be fine in time! God bless, and go for it!
