Hi everyone,

I’m currently going through antidepressant withdrawal and experiencing some cognitive challenges that I’d love guidance on. Here’s what I’m dealing with:

  1. Difficulty falling into deep sleep — mostly getting REM sleep but little to no deep sleep.
  2. Speech difficulties, such as:
    • Struggling to put thoughts into words and explain long stories clearly.
    • Sometimes having to stop mid-sentence because the right words don’t come to mind immediately.
    • Difficulty finding and ordering words to form coherent sentences.
    • Mistakes like mixing up words (e.g., throwing away a banana instead of trash) and frequent misspellings.
  3. General memory issues and constant misspelling.

Currently, the most difficult problem for me is poor sleep, which affects my ability to function.

I’ve read that people with a well-developed thalamus, hippocampus, and prefrontal cortex are more likely to experience deep sleep, while a less developed amygdala is linked to more REM sleep.

  • What kinds of brain training exercises or activities could help stimulate and develop my thalamus, hippocampus, and amygdala?
  • Could you help me design a brain training plan targeting mainly sleep improvement, as well as the speech difficulties and memory problems I mentioned?

I’m open to apps, puzzles, mental exercises, mindfulness, or anything you’ve found helpful.

Thanks so much for your support! 🙏

Seems like endurance training and dualnback with omega3 and astaxanthin would be a good start.
