Just found the program Brain Workshop today, and am interested in
getting a training program set up for myself.
Anyways, I was wondering what Tri n-back was when you go under the
'Choose game modes' screen?
I see Dual n-back and Quad n-back, but no Tri n-back.
Is it 3: Position - Color - Sound?
This is under Brain Workshop 4.7.

All the modes with 3 modalities could be considered Triple N-Back. If
you wish to progress from Dual (Position - Sound) there are 2
possibilities: Position - Color - Sound and Position - Image - Sound.

I'm posting another work-in-progress version of Brain Workshop:
4.7.7. This one should have a lot of the bugs in 4.7.3 ironed out. I
think we're almost ready for 4.8, so I want to get some beta-testing
of it before we expose the masses to it.

It has a very different game, sound, and image select screen. It may
be the case that some combinations of game mode features will cause BW
to go wonky. If you notice that escape doesn't do anything within the
game select screen, please write down the game select menu option Yes/
No states and send them to me.

It possesses a new game mode, Tri Combination (Color) N-Back (and the
corresponding crab mode). I added this mode because it was easier
than making the game select menu avoid

This version should let you create and install stimulus plugin packs.
Just make a folder in res/sounds or res/sprites with a bunch of audio
files or images, and it should automatically appear on the image or
sound select screens.

This version has less music than earlier versions of BW, but it's all
creative-commons licensed. We're still looking for more free music,
so if you have any suggestions, I'd like to hear them.

This version begs users for money every 100 sessions. The text used
in the panhandling process is different each time, by the way.

Feedback appreciated.

I haven't tried it yet but I installed it on a Windows computer and
the "Press Space" message is on top of the "Go to forum" message.

Oh, okay.
I was just wondering because for Dual n-back, Quad n-back, and
Quintuple n-back, there letters corresponding to those levels
specifically, but nothing that actually said "Tri n-back".
Thanks.

Hi Paul and Jonathan,

When I use BW 4.7.7 and press C for Choose Game Mode, S for Sound, I
for Images, and U for choosing User, I get a blank screen. Could you
tell me how to fix this, or is this maybe a bug in this version of
BW? Thanks.

Sounds like a font bug. What operating system are you using? Do you
have either the Courier New or Monospace font? If not, can you name a
few fixed-width fonts available on your operating system?

I have Windows XP. I am not sure what font I am using on BW or on my
operating system. How do I go about finding out? Thanks.
