http://www.geniusintelligence.com/becomeagenius.htm There's their new
page. Seems like people are actually buying this thing. Any thoughts
on why? Might this be legit, or are people just dumb?

For what it's worth, I saw the videos and it seemed an awful lot like
they were acting and those were the areas of the site that intrigued
me most as I thought real people were giving real testimonials or some
real sort of gain. Don't think that was the case...

idk...i think i'll remain healthily skeptical as i'm can't be entirely
sure the person who wrote that isn't a part of the guidetogenius'
marketing...

I have posted a link to the material before I didn't spend much time with it though.

Not sure why I would pay.

Surely a combination of multiple skills training including social,
physical-with strong emphasis on skilled with aerobic activity,
musical/artistic and simply new knowledge fields would do better than
a simple course?

Along with good nutrition, the aforementioned exercise, variety and
new experiences (not forgetting n-back :P)

This is something I've been doing, albeitly slightly haphazardly for a
long time now.
With good results :).

karnatural; thats what i do as well. your routine is lacking
meditation and resistance exercise. and possible language training, if
you have the time for that.

about the CGG:
seems rather hogwash. between all of us here, and our scientific
research journals, we've basically uncovered every single possible
method to increase IQ that's known. I doubt that this sole individual
(CGG's text implies that it's written by one person) knows more than
our collective here. I would not pay, and I'm not sure of the
authenticity behind the 60 day money back guarantee. That said, the
marketing is quite appealing. From a rational perspective though,
again, there can be little that this person knows that all of us
together have not already learned.

That thinking my friend is a bit pompous and fallacious. "It is what we
learn after we know it all that counts..."

By making a judgment about something without knowing it s the fertile womb
of ignorance. I have ordered it and intend to look at it objectively. May

After reading it, you can present what you think is "new" and we will
see what this sole individual has discovered which several
universities with top medical technologies have not.

Ah, mon frère... but what is 'new' to me is just that.. I do not know all
that the Universities and psychometrists know. I can only speak for
myself...

Hence you might gain more benefit from reading the archives of this
group. Then compare what you learn here to what is said on this
"genius" site; i bet my bottom dollar it will be watered down rehashes
of our discussions. Being the only person with access to this site,
you are also our only window into it and I may be wrong, however
remote the likelihood. I'm simply expressing skepticism.

I'll let you know.. (I wont be crawling the archives though), I too am a
skeptic, but I must touch the stove twice to make sure its really hot.
