The new version I am working on (which is in the trunk) contains a lot
of new embosser implementations. Most of them are not tested yet. I
would like to include them anyway and indicate their "beta status" in
odt2braille. This way users are able to test embossers themselves.

Is this a good idea?

Hi

Just to drop in with my opinion: I would even mark them as alpha, since you
said that they haven't been tested yet.
How long are the release cycles in Odt2braille? While I like the idea of testing
embossers, I don't like the idea of having the untested drivers in Debian
stable. But that's no problem when the release cycles aren't that long.

Until now, it has always been two - three months. But this time it is
taking a little longer.
