We're back from IETF!
I will give an IETF trip report, and share what we've learned from the
HTTP working group about how to extend HTTP semantics with a model of
*time* that supports state synchronization.
Martin, on the other hand, will present substantial progress in
transforming NFS from a static FS protocol into a dynamic, reactive
system. He can now author programmable backing state in GNFS, with
arbitrary Javascript, that shows up as live-updating files and folders
in your filesystem.
We will also sprinkle in other tidbits of updates, announcements, and
demos that have occurred in the last two weeks.
