Garmin is an international tech company focused on GPS technology for marine, aviation, outdoor, and sports activities. The company was founded by Gary Burrell and Min H. Kao in 1989 in Lenexa, KS. The company's name is a portmanteau of its two founders' names, Gary and Min (Garmin). From the best running watches and best GPS watches to the best fitness trackers, Garmin offers a wide assortment of devices for all types of athletes. As one of the biggest smartwatch manufacturers on the market, Garmin devices are popular for being easy to navigate and for their durability, and their range is so broad, we've even written about the best Garmin watch. All Garmin watches also connect to your phone via the Garmin Connect app, which displays all of your data in an easy-to-read format. Garmin devices can get pricey, but if you use one of our Garmin coupon codes, we can help you save money on your next purchase.
And btw. Its absolutly irrelevant if you had the issue with 4 or more watches or not. There are dozens of OS, use cases and phones out there. So the only way this can be solved is by ones that got the issues or by garmin doing its work. Read the thread i posted. Garmin knows the issue and is "not able" to repdroduce the issue. But why there is a help thread about this from garmin here? support.garmin.com/.../
We have reports of this from users of other devices as well. The one thing that they all have in common is that everyone uses the Android version of the Garmin Connect mobile app. Currently our Engineering team is looking into reports of this, but there is not a forum thread in the Garmin Connect Mobile Android product forum to point users to where a discussion may be had.
I have had the Vector 3 pedals ($1000) since July. Out of the box they worked with my Wahoo ELMT Bolt, but the calibration was off. I eventually tried to calibrate them, but after that they no longer work. The Garmin Connect app and the Wahoo Bolt, both recognize the pedals, but can't calibrate them. I just get "FAILED", no error codes and the pedals don't flash any errors.
I have brand new 2L76 batteries and washed the contacts with alcohol, but did not have mineral oil to coat them. The left pedals shows green leds when I wake it up. The Garmin Connect app has the firmware at 3.6. The app also has the right pedal led green, which I assume means the left is connect and the right is connected to the left.
There have been lots of posts, but no solutions. I am thinking of buying a Garmin computer, just to diagnose the issues, since I don't get error codes with the Bolt or the Garmin Connect app. Would the Garmin computer give the error codes and perhaps calibrate the pedals.
I can't update to 3.80. It's at 3.60. Garmin Express does not see the pedals. Garmin Connect mobile app shows 3.6 without any option to go to 3.80. It does not recognize that a newer firmware version is available.
I removed the Vector 3 pedals, then added them. When setup was done. it showed firmware as 3.8. So that was a very good suggestion. I still get calibration failed without any codes, when I try to calibrate.
