Here's a comment from the Wall Street Journal Blog post of the same
name:

This is what's out there, this is what we face. Please leave your
thoughts here, I'd like this to be discussed further. It is partly the
mission of this group to help people find and/or achieve more success
in business and create happiness and fullness in life. There are
people "out there" (all-over our third rock) standing in the way of
this much more evidently and just as significantly as the terrorists
constantly threatening us with imminent-death and surprise, lethal-
biochem-attack.

It is unfortunate that people out there have such a level of
negativity to splash all over the place the way they do. I've always
been a believer that a group is most widely defined by the worst of
what they have to offer, in this case, as men in the art of seduction,
we are lumped together as misogynistic jerks. Hopefully that will
change in the near future with what we're doing here.

The goal is to somehow separate this from "men" studying "seduction"
altogether, because in reality, this is more about "people" wanting
better lives and successful "relationships."
It's more universal and more important than a quest to get laid.
