While we were at the WhisperLounge a few nights ago, Tracer did a
(according to VA) no-no; he offered to take a picture of 2 girls.

The two girls were posing and one of them was holding up a camera to
take a picture of both of them-- you know, "MySpace style."

So Tracer runs over and says "Want me to take it?" and I did a face-
palm going "Oh no..." to my self and when the girl goes "Yes!" Tracer
does something I think was really cool.

He says to her "Yeah, but I gotta be in it too!" And she
enthusiastically agrees, and so both girls motion for us to join them
in the picture, and Tracer takes a MySpace shot of ALL of us together!

As soon as he handed the camera back to the girl, he goes "That'll be
five bucks" and the girls laughs.

I don't recall what happened after that, but that in particular stood
out for me that evening. Any thoughts, ladies and gentlemen?

If i remember, they asked me to take it. One things I've learned over
time was to make everything a challenge for women, from handing them a
napkin, giving them my autograph or in this case, taking their
picture. This creates a bit of interest. Not a HUGE obstacle but a
certain prerequisite that must be met in order for them to win my
services (however minuscule.) I'm not about to offer my services to
their advantage for free simply because they're "pretty."

She balked at the 5 bucks so I told her to buy me a drink instead. She
balked again and offered a hug. I rejected her offer and I offered her
a handshake. Now some may consider it an AFC action to just "shake her
hand" but she's going hug AFCs all night so i figured a handshake was
something...interesting.

In other words, for the exception of her not buying me a drink, the
handshake meant that I closed out the set on MY own terms. We're
probably overanalyzing over an interaction that lasted for a little
over a minute, but keep in mind folks that every second counts on the
field ESPECIALLY in clubs/bars. There may be cases when you have 2
seconds to open a set, 1 minute to talk to your target before her
friends cockblock, a mere gesture that may turn the interaction into a
seduction process, etc. Little details are sometimes the difference
between a success and a loss.

I think I took a crappy picture anyway.

Here's my response to this, I hope this can add something, and I hope
it encourages others to share some.

LMK what you think... I'd like to expand on it and make it more
specific (as well as upload my lexicon)... looking for a
pseudo-"support team" to help-out with organization, membership
recruiting, content management and thread-stimulation.

However, thanks a bunch for sharing! Hopefully, these field reports
and studies can help a lot of people.
