Heretic Dosbox Download

I can't seem to get sound working on hexen or heretic. I've tried editing parts of the dosbox.conf and even searched the web for commands that might help, but so far nothing. I'm running vista, on a laptop but i can't get any sound at all. I do know that there isn't anything wrong with the programs themselves, as there is sound when they are being installed. If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
The plot of the adventure, which is very forgotten in this type of title, is located in an apocalyptic world where three brothers, known as the snake riders, possessed the 7 kings in force and corrupted their armies. The Elves, on the other hand, are resistant to magic and opposed the rule of dictators and were labeled as heretics. So an elf named Corvus - the main character of the game - embarks on a quest of revenge against the snake riders and their army.
As the story goes, the Serpent Riders of the Abyss have pillaged the world and destroyed the hope of humanity. While only one Serpent Rider remains to oversee their plans for the world you, a heretic, have decided to fight against him in order to try and end their reign. You will utilize various magical weapons and spells to fight his evil minions and save your fellow countrymen.
Hi, I'm a newbee when it comes to dosbox and launchbox, but I've managed to import/install a few dos games, such as heretic and quake etc. I'm having real issues with psycho pinball. everything seems ok, but on load, it just hangs on the DOS/4GW. Any ideas?
