Our neighbours River Worth Friends are hosting the Urban River Conclave (not choosing a pope though).  I've been to previous events, they are small and interesting affairs made up of people like us who care about their often neglected urban river.  

I encourage you to think about attending.  We can afford to pay the fee for a couple of people, let me know if you need such support.

River Worth Friends and the Wild Trout Trust would like to invite you, your supporters and volunteers to our ’Trout in the Town’ Urban Conclave on July 2nd and 3rd. Please see details about the event and registration below, and please feel free to share these widely. We look forward to seeing lots of you there!

There are a number of opportunities for short presentations (15 minutes) on any subject relating to river stewardship. There will also be a round table discussion format to share experiences, challenges, and ideas. We are looking for suggestions for topics of interest, particularly if any of your members would be happy to give a 5 minute introduction based on your local experience. Please get in touch if you would like to contribute.
