I am happy to participate in this Zoom. My involvement from afar in this effort brough to my attention PA DEP changed its Oil and Gas Regs under Gov Casey I believe to allow all marcellus shale violations to be addressed as BROWNFIELDS.....................https://www.epa.gov/brownfields.........as if the sites and communities are ALREADY CONTAMINATED SITES IN NEED OF REMEDIATION. This means, regs such as ACT 2 have been used to clean up frack waste spills accidents violations etc....................if the operator cleans up within a certain time frame from the SELF REPORTED accident...they do not need to NOTIFY THE PUBLIC.

Pretty horrifying but now we know where there was never any public system to notify communities of accidents.............so much for a good neighbor policy industry likes to promote.

I think it would help to have a quick ZOOM call about fracking waste & Burdick Creek. If we have several from CHP-PA  on that call then I can sign
on behalf of that group. I want to be sure I have the facts correct in my letter of support.
Yoko, What is the time constraint?

Goodorning -

Would it help to set up a Zoom call for everyone to learn together what is needed at this point? I am happy to coordinate a virtual meeting.

Take action with the Concerned Health Professionals of Pennsylvania!

We are desperate for help. Would any of please write a letter of concern, an affidavit to include in Senator Katie Muth’s appeal of the DEP permit to allow processed frack water to be discharged into the tiny tributary that feeds into our Burdick Creek. Email me for more info or check me out on FB. Please help!! We are running out of time
