I'll be giving a short presentation in Scranton on Wednesday Evening to start off this event and then we'll be writing our public comments together and taking a group picture down the block at the state office building. Air pollution from shale gas operations, pipelines, and related facilities is a danger to public health and our environment. Currently, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is considering strict regulations on gas leaks and venting from pipeline systems. 

Even Governor Wolf has promised to cut emissions statewide, but to make it happen, we need your help!

Join Clean Air Council for a short presentation and letter writing to DEP regarding the impacts of methane and the volatile organic compounds that travel with it on Wednesday, 6PM at Library Express, Marketplace at Steamtown, 300 Lackawanna Ave, Scranton PA.

Parking is free on the street after 6PM and in the parking garage below the mall (entrance on Washington Ave). Library express is located on the second floor of the mall. We will be meeting in the back.
