Big Basin campgrounds first-come-first-served

Hey there, denizens of the Urban Food Log:

I had it in mind to book a campsite in Big Basin in addition to the
Sierra Club Hiker's Hut in Sam MacDonald, but that's looking
complicated. The sites in Big Basin will be first-come-first-served:

The difficulty will be in finding our gang when we runners arrive in the
park, since a campsite cannot be booked in advance. I think the best
option would be for whoever secures the site on that Saturday (4 weeks
from this weekend!) to post a notice on the bulletin board in the park
headquarters. Will that work okay for us? We'll be coming in on the
Skyline-to-the-Sea trail, so a sign or two along that trail would be
great too.

I'll ask for a quick headcount of runners doing all or part of the run
soon, and let's see what crew we can scrounge up to help out along the
way...
