Hi Guys, The only official 100 I have run was Headlands Hundred and by
the 75 mile point we were all hours apart. I am sure we all would like
to finish at our own pace, but I am really open to running the first
half or a big chunk with another person. Collective thinking being
what it is, at least you could ask "Do you think we are going the
right way." Either way I'll see you at the Beach.

Yo Andy, how long did it take you to hit that 75-mile point at Headlands
Hundred? I think your pace and Brian's pace and my own may be not far
off from each other. Personally, I'm planning to aim for about a
15-minute-per-mile pace for the time I'm moving, which leaves about
three hours total for Safeway and munching and clothes changes and
gabbing and so on, for about a 28-hour grand total. It worked last
year; we'll see about this year. :-)

At least for the first big chunk, my guess is that we'll not get so far
apart. Let's see what we feel like, and go for it! I'm good at ups,
and suck at downs. I fast-walk a lot. We might trade places a lot, and
spend plenty of quality time together in this lunacy. Hell, we may even
need a beer stop somewhere.
